This lapping plate, made from 12mm thick polycarbonate, is ideal for use with Scary Sharpening lapping film. It has been made to our specifications and can be used for backing off new plane blades or chisels and for excellent results when honing your tools. It is also an excellent base for flattening water stones. Now made of polycarbonate for a strong and safe sharpening plate in the workshop.
