Verum plane blades are crafted from 3mm thick T10 water hardened carbon steel ground to 25 degrees in preparation for a 30 degree sharpen. T10 is quick to hone, and it keeps sharper for longer than traditional steels, even on tough timbers, allowing more planing and less frequent sharpening!
