Verum No. 043 Plough Plane

The Verum Plough Plane brings classic joinery tasks back into the workshop with precision and control. Ideal for producing grooves, rebates, and fine inlays, it excels at applications such as door frames, drawer slips, back panels, picture frames, or windowsills. The bow handle delivers smooth, even power directly to the cutter, eliminating chatter or flex and giving a consistent, tear-out-free finish.

Designed with Peter Sefton

Each Verum plane is the result of a collaboration between our manufacturer and Wood Workers Workshop’s owner, Peter Sefton — a master craftsman and long-time woodworking educator. His expertise shaped every aspect of the Plough Plane, from its stainless-steel construction to the ergonomics of its fence and handle, creating a tool designed by woodworkers, for woodworkers.
