The Dado Brake Cartridge instantly stops a spinning dado blade on contact with skin, significantly reducing the risk of serious injury. It's compatible with all standard 203 mm/8" dado sets up to 23mm/29/32" thick and works with all woods and other non-conductive materials.

A single locking key allows quick switching between the standard brake cartridge and the dado brake cartridge for fast transitions between cut types. The integrated RS232 port connects the cartridge to the saw, enabling communication with the microprocessor and blade for rapid activation.

A Mylar debris shield helps prevent false triggers from metal particles such as nails or staples, while a heavy-duty spring under 68 kg of pressure drives an aluminium brake into the blade, stopping it in just 5 milliseconds.

For minimal downtime after activation, keep a spare cartridge on hand - replace the blade and brake, and you're back to work quickly and safely.
