A router plane allows you to register from an existing surface and create a coplanar surface at with precision to a controlled depth. This makes it an essential hand tool for cleaning the bottoms of housings and trenches, levelling tenon cheeks, and refining joinery with a level of accuracy that is difficult to achieve by other means.

This compact Verum router plane features a cast stainless steel body, ensuring it will not rust and remains stable in the workshop. The sole provides secure support across trenches up to 40mm wide, while the open design gives excellent visibility of the cutter and allows shavings to clear freely during use.

T brass adjustment knob allows quick and precise depth setting without blocking your view of the cutter. Bubinga handles provide a comfortable grip and improved control when pivoting the plane for slicing out waste and thumb recesses in the casting for when more power is needed.

The V point cutters excel in internal corners, beneath dovetail corners, purfling, and inlay work or slicing along housings.
